Online Schedule of Classes
In compliance with the most recent MI State Executive Order, GLAD will not be offering any in-studio classes or lessons starting March 16th.

We very strongly believe that now, more than ever, it is important to find a way to stay active and to keep dancing. To this end, we will begin offering select classes in an online virtual format. We will continue to add class offerings as time goes on.

Dancers should complete a quick sign up for the classes in which they would like to participate:

How to get into a Virtual Class

We're using the Zoom platform for our live virtual classroom. Dancers are recommended to download the app prior to the class on their digital device (smart phone, tablet, laptop, etc). Depending on the option you choose when you sign up, you'll either get an invite directly through Zoom or receive an email with a class code to enter from greaterlansingballet@gmail.com.

Guidelines for Online Classes

-
Set up your classroom space at home. Remove any necessary furniture, cords, rugs or other hazards to have an open and safe space to dance. We suggest having a space that is roughly 8' x 6'. For Ballet classes, a chair or counter at roughly barre height is recommended for stability.
-
Appropriate dance attire should be worn.
-
Set your teacher to full screen viewing.
-
Mute your own video to avoid disruption.
-
Remember to unmute yourself to ask a question.
-
Pointe shoes are not to be worn during virtual classes (for student safety).
-
Have fun!

Thank you for your patience as we make this transition.
