An American Nutcracker
Greater Lansing Ballet Company presents a 1940's wartime twist on this classic holiday ballet! Clare takes a magical journey to reunite with her father away at war.
Intertwining the classical Tchaikovsky score with the big band jazz interpretations of Duke Ellington & Billy Strayhorn, it's sure to delight audiences of all ages!

Presented as a suite of dances from the ballet, the work re-envisions the story with a unique twist on the timeless tale of good versus evil, nature versus industry.
The concert also includes a presentation of contemporary works from the spring season.
Little Mermaid
Based on H.C. Andersen's "the Little Mermaid", this exciting new ballet tells the tale of a younger mermaid who yearns to have a soul like a human.
