Applicants should arrive a few minutes early for registration.  There is a $10 registration fee.  Auditions will include a class with both ballet and contemporary/modern movement.  The Senior audition will include pointe work.

GLBC's Senior Company

Dancers age 12 and up with solid ballet and contemporary technique will be

considered for the Senior division.  It is strongly recommended that dancers be en pointe, but it is not a requirement. 

Dancers who show potential, but might need a little more development may also be accepted into the Senior Apprentice division.

Rehearsals are on Saturdays from 11:30am to 4:00pm.

GLBC's Junior Company

Dancers age 8 - 12 with at least 2 years of ballet training will be considered

for the Junior division.

Young Dancers who show potential, but need a little more development may also be considered for the Junior Apprentice division.

Rehearsals are on Saturdays from 11:30am to 1:00pm.

GLBC's Adult & Collegiate Company

Dancers age 17 and up with some background in ballet or contemporary techniques may be considered for the Adult division.

Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 7:30pm to 9:00pm

About GLBC's 36th Season

This Season includes a range of exciting performances, including Nutcracker (December), Dances of Doom (a haunted dance studio experience in October),

Regional Dance America MidState's Festival in Skokie, Illinois (April), community performances throughout the year, and a full length ballet in the spring!

Company Dancers can expect to experience a diverse range of dance styles and performance settings in a professional and supportive artistic environment.

If you are unable to attend the Audition day on August 29th, arrangements can be made for our All-levels Make-up Audition on Saturday, September 12th from 9:00am - 10:00am
